Rotational Molded Polyethylene tanks have become a preferred storage vessel for chemicals like concentrated sulfuric acid and caustic soda. When combined with options such as insulation and heat tracing, many more process applications can be served.

While suitable for many chemical uses, one of the most common uses for poly tanks is water storage. It is a very affordable way to store quantities of up to 10,000 gallons of liquid.

We offer tanks from 1.5 SG for ag service to 1.9 SG for industrial service. When selecting a polyethylene tank for chemical duty, it is important to know the specific gravity of the fluid that you are storing. For example, water has a specific gravity of 1.0 while 98% sulfuric acid has a specific gravity of 1.85. You must choose a tank with the proper rating for your chemical. High SG tanks have thicker walls and are rated for liquids with high specific gravity.
